I am excited about Americans joining the team. Our Soldiers need more support than a bumper sticker - this is a great opportunity for the American people to contribute materially to both the combat effectiveness and the welfare of our troops in the field. Americans can now get directly involved in the decision making process. I believe that it was Robert Kennedy who made a comment once about how not everyone can change history, but a lot of people, making their own small contribution, can bend history to change. The Jake may not be the platform of the future - it may just be a stepping stone to that future - but it is a lens that can focus our efforts to effect change at the broadest level. The Jake can simplify the logistics of the battlefield. It can act as an exponential force multiplier by incorporating the robotics that are ready NOW for our warriors in the field. It takes robotics to a whole new level by creating mobility platforms that are fighting platforms, mobility platforms and almost exoskeletons for the individual warrior, enabling the individual Soldier or Marine to extend his influence on the battlefield a dozen times over. It can empower an individual Warfighter with a number of weapons that cannot normally be carried by the individual, like the Browning M2 .50 Machine Gun…another weapon that was invented decades before it was finally accepted by the Army - and which is still very much the weapon of choice on the battlefield today. This platform is not a product of the “military-industrial complex” - it is the product of Americans who want to make a difference - and THAT is why it needs your support to make the difference.
This is your opportunity to get involved in the fight for the future - take it.

AMERICAN AGILTY IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO WAKE A SLEEPING GIANT THAT NEEDS TO BE AWAKENED NOW BY THE PATRIOTS OF AMERICAN SOCIETY. We as a NATION need to come together and play a role in victory and sustainment of our FREEDOM & LIBERTY NOW and for years to come.
It is exciting to know that the American People who are genuinely interested in “Supporting the Troops” now have this outstanding support mechanism, “American Agility,” to make a difference and join the fight akin to the way that citizens joined the fight during WWII offering their money, rationing their food, donating their scrap metal, participating in coast watching and civil defense units to actively demonstrate their “support” and become an effective counter-threat to thwart the forces and constituencies of evil that are the avowed enemies of Freedom & Democracy around the world.
AN IMPORTANT POINT is that most American Patriots don’t have experience or knowledge about the Defense Acquisition environment to know that it takes sometimes decades to get the best technologies to the “point of the spear.” I personally have experience in the Defense Acquisition process, and I am here to say that our development cycles, Defense statues and regulations result in an often slow and inefficient delivery which costs lives, and in my opinion, has too often contributed to an unnecessary protraction of conflict.
THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT is that defense regulations allow for accelerated acquisition and fielding of new technologies that are commercially developed, marketed and “on-the-shelf.” Literally, decades-of-time can be eliminated from a “broken” defense acquisition & fielding process when American citizens step-up and get behind the accelerated commercial development processes via American agility. THIS IS A CALL TO ARMS FOR ALL AMERICAN PATRIOTS THAT MEAN WHAT THEY SAY WHEN THEY SAY THAT “WE SUPPORT THE TROOPS.” Here is your chance to make a giant difference and the vehicle to cast your votes, and pledge your financial support to make a solid and commercially proven technology and viable force multiplier for our Fighting Patriots that are literally on FREEDOM’s LINE.
This call to action is for each and everyone of us loyal Americans who are committed to Liberty & Freedom in the truest sense need to communicate that America’s agility is ALIVE, and that this IS a unique and powerful instrument to JOIN THE FIGHT! This is a great opportunity to make a difference and send this link to our entire address book of Patriots.
If 64,000,000 citizens can call up over and over via a telethon style vehicle to decide by popular vote, which one of a group of entertainers should be crowned “AMERICAN IDOL,” I tend to think that even a fraction of that population donating just $5 to $100 per person (less than a pair of shoes), could easily guarantee rapid development, acquisition, and fielding of advanced fighting equipment & vehicles, and surveillance & logistics technologies that have already been commercially proven as viable solutions to help our fighting patriots to defeat the enemies of the United States and the enemies of all freedom loving peoples.
IT IS TIME THAT WE ARE REAWAKENED ABOUT DEFEATING THOSE ENEMIES COMMITTED TO OUR DESTRUCTION. I just hope that those that read this and help pass the message along to other citizens with a sense of urgency will grasp the intent of the authors of the American Agility support-website. It was conceived to answer patriots asking how they could help a program they saw stalled for no good reason, other than accumulated bureaucracy and people’s resistance to change. It is passed time to unleash the power, might and heroism of the AMERICAN PEOPLE that has largely become silent and searching for ways to help our country and its magnificent fighting PATRIOTS. American Agility is a SOLUTION and clearly the a way to really move ahead if we care enough and really MEAN WHAT WE ALL SAY ABOUT SUPPORTING THE TROOPS. There is a way…….to reawaken the USA with more fury than was unfortunately achieved by THE ENEMIES OF FREEDOM & LIBERTY on December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001. THERE IS A WAY…….AMERICAN AGILITY ALL THE WAY.
WELL DONE AMERICAN AGILITY LEADERSHIP!!!!
GOD BLESS

I have been following “Jake’s” progess for nearly two years and am always so amazed at the resistance this concept receives even by those who are supposedly “in the know”. Let’s give this project the attention it deserves. WE FINALLY HAVE A MEANS TO TRULY HELP OUR SOLDIERS…don’t just wait for others to “make it happen” , let’s put this newest innovation in the field where it will give our soldiers the edge they deserve. UNITE AND INSIST that our soldiers have this new technology NOW!!!
- Karen T Scheffler Montgomery, VT
The underpinning of this project is an intensely sincere love for our soldiers and an amazing vision for what they need to do the job in Iraq. This vehicle is so innovative and completely ready, willing, and able to be what it is and MORE in the hands of our very capable soldiers. We’ve simply got to get it to them.
- Harry "Butch" Dreany Fredericksburg, VA
America has the power to start this.
Russ Strong’s nephew, Jesse Strong, was a member of my platoon when he was killed in Iraq.
As a Marine and a veteran of Iraq I believe that the Jake can really make a difference in the Global War on Terror. The Jake will allow Marines the ability to go deeper into the urban and be able to stay longer.
The agility, mobility and versatility of the Jake will allow young Marines and soldiers to solve many problems that they are experiencing in Iraq.
Here is an opportunity to get involved and make difference.
Semper Fi,
GySgt Dreany

It's high time we unleashed America's ingenuity to determine a readily achievable future of our foot soldier! We have the technology to make them the most powerful and feared peacekeepers in history. Let's close the gap and let them do their job!
- Matthew Strong Pennsylvania August 24, 2007
A swift change in technology and tactics simply cannot be underestimated. If we take the fight beyond the sacrifice level of the enemy, they will step back and re-think their actions and who they attack. Our Marines deserve every advantage possible!
- Angela Connally Texas August 26, 2007
This mom wants ACTION from Congress NOW. I don't want to wait another day much less years from now to get the best protection for my Marines fighting this War on Terror. I want to see them inside JAKE, ASAP. Why hasn't it happened already?
- Brad Rigby Ohio August 24, 2007

I deployed to Iraq and I wish that we had this kind of mobility and firepower with the protection that it provides. This vehicle can save lives and accomplish a multidimensional mission.
- Christen Seal New Mexico August 31, 2007
This is something that is costly, but I feel that with the massive amount of negative media coverage shown throughout the news about body counts, it is a must to help decrease the death toll of our troops in Iraq
- Bill Alexander Vermont August 31, 2007
Let's "take back America" starting with some common sense! We can't just outsource our soldier's best interest like we do everything else.

I was very fortunate to be in the Washington D.C. area and be invited to attend both the Modern Day Marine Expo and the AUSA Conference with my husband Ret. Marine Major Pat Connally, and with our good friend Russ Strong, and able to see for myself all the amazing equipment and technology that our Marines and Soldiers are using over in Iraq and Afghanistan today.
We’ve come a long way since our daughter, a Marine Logistics Officer was deployed to TQ Iraq in 2003 when she was ordering the up-armoring of her Marines vehicles as soon as the sheets of plating arrived into Iraq. And back in 2004 when our son CPL Luke ordered his own sappy plates off the Internet while he was stationed at Haditha Dam Iraq. At that time I was very happy to hear that he was not on foot but inside an up-armored Humvee, although it didn’t stop an Iraqi suicide car bomber from blowing himself up, killing Luke’s friend CPL Zack Kolda and putting Luke in a hospital with severe injuries. And as Lauren came home from her 2nd deployment from Iraq in 2005, we prepared to send our youngest Marine LCPL Daniel over to the Al Anbar Province with his Combat Engineer Reserve Unit. We were happy to hear that he would be riding inside the up- armored Cougar while searching for IED’s, until it needed maintenance one day and he was downsized into a humvee while out on patrol. And sure enough, the enemy waited for the weak link in the convoy and tried to blow him and his buddies up.
All my Marines are home Stateside at present and we are enjoying this break from the stress of our Warriors out in harms way. But soon, my Army nephew will be leaving for his 2nd deployment into Iraq and my best friends son is in the Al Anbar Province and another friends son is on his 2nd deployment and 2 cousins from East Texas have been told they too will be leaving for Iraq sometime this year. And many of them will be patrolling through out the cities on foot, while carrying over 100lb packs.
So this Proud Marine Mom was extremely happy to see the latest and best technology that was designed and built by World renown Companies and by American Defense Corporations and it was all on display at these two amazing shows that I was fortunate and grateful to be able to attend. But as I wondered throughout the halls and isles, gawking over all the massive vehicles and admiring the latest “Toys” our men and women in Uniform have available to help them, I could see that something very important was missing. And it scares me.
With all of todays mighty technology, why must the Marines Corps and the Army’s Infantrymen, our American Foot Soldiers and your Children, still be on their feet? While carrying over 100lbs of gear and at times running for cover. What are we thinking? Why have we neglected to get them the technology that our Pilots, Tankers, Artillerymen and everyone else have already? Are they expendable or any less important to our Nation? Not to we Moms and Dads who are praying for their safe return home. And I’ll continue with my prayers for all our Uniformed Service Members that are in harms way.
But with the “JAKE” system, that Russ Strong and his team have developed, our Military could have more than just our Prayers, with your help this unique and transformational carrier can provide what is missing for our Infantrymen. They deserve the Best from Americans, lets make it happen, ASAP.
God Bless Our Uniformed Men & Women in Service and the Families that stand beside them.
