Operation American Agility is standing with other civilian and defense leaders, 3D Agile, and their technology partners, in an uncommon, but necessary task. This task is one of communicating a need and achieving a breakthrough in protection and supporting force for our Foot Soldiers ---
--- NOW, not in ten or twenty years --- not held back by restrictions within our large military organizations --- Therefore:
We support 3D Agile providing us the opportunity to join them in an “impossible” mission so that it becomes possible, to have a say and to make a difference.
We believe this is not something to just leave to Congress, Department of Defense, Army or Marines. We, as Americans have the ability to add our voice, our direct support of our troops, and our contributions to move faster.
We support 3D Agile advancing this program until full action for our troops is in motion with mission accomplished, understanding that a major defense corporation, or partnership of such, shall likely take the program from there, with our contributions passed on to a non-profit supporting our wounded and disabled veterans.
We recognize that today’s young Soldiers and Marines think differently, with skills and intuitions fine-tuned on video games, multi-tasking and social awareness. We recognize that they are on the front lines of a crucial war and are the key to success.
We recognize that prototypes of the Jake™ already serve as a catalyst to innovation with these soldiers and those within our defense technology labs --- and the next-generation Jakes will allow greater breakthroughs in the hands of our young troops.
We believe, and appreciate, that the Jake™ development is pulling together proven leaders in innovation, bringing experience from across Cat, Deere, CNH, and automotive, truck, electronic and military technologies.
The opportunities are exciting, and only with breaking the barriers to change, and drawing on how America best innovates, will our young Soldiers and Marines have the freedom they deserve to define the future of agile ground force and peacekeeping strength.
Thus, the mission of Operation American Agility
